Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar (UTB) is a private, non-profit institution founded in 1970, and managed by the most important business associations in the city.
It is located in Cartagena, one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
UTB is Cartagena’s highest ranking private university, offering several fields of study through its six schools: Engineering, Economics and Business, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Basic Sciences and the School of Technical and Technological Programs.
Currently the University has a student population of approximately 7000 undergraduate and graduate students. The main strength of the UTB is its vocation as a high level educational and research institution committed with social and economic development of the region.
